How to Apply for:

National Opti Grant

Who is eligible:

1. Sailors who qualify and participate in USODA Team Trials.   
• a stipend of $500 per participant will be awarded.  
2. Any sailor that makes the National Team by qualifying at the USODA Team Trials will receive 
• an additional $500 grant towards future travel. 

Limitations:

1. The maximum allotment for the USODA Team Trials is $5000 
2. The maximum allotment for the USODA National Team is capped at $1500.  
3. All applications received within 30 days after the event will be considered.  
• If more than 10 applications are received for the USODA Team Trails, the $5000 will be divided evenly amongst all sailors applying within those 30 days. 
• If more than 3 applications are received for the National Team Grant, the $1500 will be divided evenly amongst all sailors applying within those 30 days.
